Lg Scrolled Turk™ - Celtic Heart - Sycamore - 1.38 oz / 39.5g

The Scrolled Turk™, a cross arm drop spindle, commonly referred to as a Turkish style or Turk, with cutouts, is a Jeri Brock original design. Born of my love of fiber arts and woodworking, specifically scroll sawing, the Scrolled Turk™ is not only a great spinning spindle, the designs let you express your individuality while indulging in your art.

While the standard Scrolled Turk™ is my go to spindle for spinning singles, the large is perfect for plying. Sporting a 6” wingspan, it can hold an entire 4 oz (100g) spun and plied braid of fiber.

The celtic heart was an experiment to see of I could create a scrollable pattern that wouldn’t fall apart, and it worked! I’ve had some customers refer to this as my pretzel pattern, which is fine by me. I like pretzels!
